i must say that i am very grateful for the life that i live. i have a husband who works hard and loves me. he is such a good daddy. he is supportive. encouraging. and just awesome. i have a son who is so good.  he is the sweetest little boy who gives the best hugs & kisses. 

i am truly so happy!

Well hello!!!

oh man...it's been too long! we've been keeping busy. when we're not busy we're completely exhausted!  mick's oldest sister & family are in town visiting & his older brother & family just moved to utah so we've been having a lot of fun with hanging out with them! 

on monday mick's work had a company party at seven peaks water park. we had the whole park to our selves! it was so amazing! we had j dogs and went down many slides! so much fun! 

it's been decided that mick and i moved to the best neighborhood ever! they are party animals over here! on the third they closed off the whole block and had a block party. kenny literally ran into the town mayor. there was grilling, lots of food, fun contests, dancing, bouncy houses, and lots of people! on the forth they had a neighborhood firework display. then they closed the street off again and we watched the stadium of fire's fire work show. we had the most perfect view! i can't even get over how cool that was!  

it has been a fun week. i hear that there is a laser tag tournament at grandpa swenson's tomorrow night! HOLLA'!!!! this summer keeps getting better and better. with my brother's wedding and my sister's coming up next month, all these great boating days and getting to hang out with mick's family at lake tahoe in a couple weeks...i think i can definitely say that this is the best summer yet!

p.s. i just wanted to give a shout out to my newest readers! thank you so much for being here! i cannot express how much it means to have you all apart of this little blog of mine! i want to give a special shout out to my newest friend {Carissa}. she is a pretty dang amazing woman and i am so grateful for our new friendship and her kind words to me! i needed her. i was feeling a bit discouraged and she helped bring me out of my funk with her kindness!

WAIT! i also want to wish my sweet and beautiful sister nichole a happy TWENTY FIRST birthday! i can't believe how old we all are getting!

our day via photos

this is a look into our day (yesterday) i took a picture every hour. it was actually hard. and not as fun as i thought it would be. can you take too many pictures in one day? yesterday almost felt that way. oh well. this is a fun post however! i would definitely say it was worth and i will probably do it again...in the NOT so near future. but again.

7a.m. i woke up to this little man crawling to my bed to snuggle. 

8a.m. breakfast time!

 9a.m. we decided to take a walk to the farmer's market. when we got there all we found was a huge pile of construction (of course...we are in utah). so disappointing.

 10a.m. we continued our walk though for a while. on our way back my feet were blistered from my shoes. it was strange. i wore those shoes all winter why the heck am i getting blisters? my feet must know its summer. they only like flip flops and sandals.

11a.m. kenny went down for a nap and i blogged! YAY!

12p.m. he's awake!

1p.m. after lunch we went outside. kenny discovered the raspberry bush. i could not keep him away from it and he was starting to eating the one's that weren't ripe yet. so we went inside and he was unhappy.

2p.m. the chaz loves my bed. he thinks its his...

3p.m. just a little 80's photo session with my boy. 

4p.m. kenny is getting into my wallet. again. this was probably the 3rd time that day.

5p.m. kenny was taking his second nap and i had a little snack. peanut butter and nutella on a tortilla. it was pretty good. not my favorite.

6p.m. watching the colbert report with dad. i'm not even kidding, he loves that show.

7p.m. i detailed the car. :) it looks good!
