kenny signed by himself for the first time yesterday!!! i know to most that may not seem like a big deal but to mick and me it is pretty dang huge and just beyond cute! kenny was eating a banana muffin and he had eaten all the pieces i put on his tray, i asked if he wanted more and he looked up at me, smiled, and did the sign for "more". i about died (for the second time that morning)! it was a perfect turnaround to my not so great start to that day.
p.s. if you live in provo or coming to visit, do not go to nellie's diner. it was awful. i went to get a couple of muffins for breakfast and they were so dry and dense and just yucky. the store itself was bare and uninviting. the two people that were there were unfriendly (especially to each other) and the worst part was the big heavy door that slammed against the back of my heel and made me almost bleed to death.
