Future Goals:

One cold and windy day I decided to cruise around the mall (Baby Gap, my favorite store of all time!). While wishing and dreaming and (unfortunately for my Celestial Kingdom points) coveting many adorable baby clothes I was quickly distracted from my dreaming by three other mothers uncomfortably and with much effort, trying to push their double wide and double length strollers through the mass of clothes. It looked awful! After getting trapped in a section by their ginormous strollers I decided then and there that I WILL buy a really nice, expensive, but totally worth every penny Phil and Ted's stroller. No...don't try and talk me out of it. Its going to happen. I've set a goal to save up my allowance that Mick has so generously agreed to give me. It will take me a whole year (starting in May) to save up for the one I want and the accessories I will need to go with it. I wont need the accessories right away but I want to buy them all at once.

From the Phil and Ted's Store:
Stroller "Explorer": $479.99
Double Kit: $89.99
Car Seat adapter: $34.99

I will need to save up $50.00 a month for 12 months. Its my entire allowance so it will be kinda hard and will take lots of patience and self control. I am very excited and happy about this goal! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

  1. I have the P&T Vibe and it was worth every penny. Go for it!! ESPECIALLY, since Kenny is your first. It is the only stroller you'll ever need for all your kids, so the initial investment is totally worth it. At least I think it is. I use my in place of an umbrella stroller, a jogging stroller, a double stroller, and just an every day stroller. I especially love it for those moments when you need to fit through a tight space, like at the mall. Seriously, worth it.

  2. Here's a suggestion: While you are in South Dakota, watch Craigs list for a used one. Here in Utah it's hard to find good used stuff for kids--but other places, there are lots of people who have 1 child and then sell everything. So keep a vigilant watch, and you may find a good used one!

  3. I was just going to say the same as my mom - watch craigslist - they're always selling them here!
